Eight friends in an igloo. Fifty coworkers at Christmas dinner. An entire winter wonderland all to yourself. However you like to celebrate, there’s a way to make The Southern Lights your own this year.
Every winter, Trustmark Park trades baseball for millions of Christmas lights, real ice skating, train rides and a whole lot of holiday magic. And for 2026, the Mississippi Mud Monsters are opening up even more ways for businesses, families, churches, nonprofits and groups of friends to enjoy it together.
From a private fire pit for the evening to a full-scale holiday party for 200, we've built experiences for just about every kind of Christmas gathering. Yes, that includes the option to rent the entire Southern Lights.
A Christmas party that's anything but ordinary.
Have the dinner. Exchange the gifts. Recognize the people who made your year. Then head outside and go ice skating together, catch a ride on the Christmas train or explore the lights. The holiday party doesn't have to end when dinner does.

I've been to plenty of company Christmas parties, and I think most of us have a pretty good idea of what those usually look like. But I love the idea of having a great dinner with your coworkers and then getting to go ice skating together. It's still a Christmas party. It's just a much more interesting one. — David Kerr

One of the things that matters most to me is that this event feels like it belongs to our community. We want companies to bring their employees here and families to bring their friends, but we also want local schools and organizations to benefit from what we're doing. There's room for all of that. — David Kerr
