The uniforms that took the field for the very first game in Mississippi Mud Monsters history are now up for auction. Not remakes. The originals.

PEARL, Miss. (October 9, 2026) – Before the Mississippi Mud Monsters had a win, a loss, or even a single inning in the record books, they had a name, a ballpark, and a set of uniforms waiting to take the field.
On May 8, 2025, those uniforms became part of history.
Now, the Mississippi Mud Monsters are giving fans an opportunity to own a piece of the franchise's beginning with The Original Teal Jersey Auction, featuring authentic, game-worn jerseys from the team's first two seasons.
The teal uniforms made their debut during the Mud Monsters' inaugural game against the Florence Y'alls at Trustmark Park. They continued to be worn throughout the 2025 and 2026 seasons, becoming one of the most recognizable elements of the young franchise's identity.

From artwork to Opening Day.
Designed in-house by then-Assistant General Manager and current General Manager David Kerr, the original uniform collection was unveiled on April 26, 2025, just 12 days before the team's first game.
The teal design was inspired by the deep waters the Mud Monsters call home. Manufactured by Rawlings, the jerseys feature the team's distinctive dripping Creature Flow lettering, developed by The Cirlot Agency of Flowood, Mississippi, along with the Mississippi state flag on the right sleeve.
The reveal. The Mud Monsters unveil their first three uniform sets, including the original teal jersey.
The debut. The teal jerseys take the field as the Mud Monsters play their first game against Florence at Trustmark Park.
The first two seasons. The jerseys stay in use as players and jersey numbers become part of the franchise's early history.
Your turn. The original game-worn collection becomes available to fans and collectors.
For Kerr, who was also the franchise's first employee, the uniforms represent something more personal than a baseball jersey.
“I still remember when these were just designs on my computer. We were building a baseball team from scratch, and there were so many things that existed only as ideas. Getting to see our players take the field wearing those uniforms on May 8 was one of those moments when it all became real.”

A jersey can tell more than one story.
Over two seasons, the teal jerseys have been worn by players who helped write the earliest chapters of Mississippi Mud Monsters baseball. As rosters changed, jersey numbers were passed from one player to another, creating connections between the players and moments that shaped the franchise's beginnings.
The auction includes the original team-issued, game-worn jerseys, not replicas or reproductions. Each listing identifies the jersey number, associated players, and uniform size, allowing fans to explore the history behind individual numbers.
