Double the Opponents, Double the Fun: Mud Monsters Host the Grizzlies and Otters in a Six-Game Swamp Spectacle
Two teams. Six games. One meat-on-a-stick mystery. Welcome to the monster swamp.

PEARL, Miss. (May 13, 2025) — The Mississippi Mud Monsters are back home for a six-game stretch packed with giveaways, theme nights, and frontier-league fun as they welcome the Gateway Grizzlies (May 13–15) and the Evansville Otters (May 16–18) to Trustmark Park.

It all kicks off Tuesday, May 13 with Master Mudders Club Night, a nod to our fans aged 55 and up, paired with a ballpark-favorite—Bingo! First pitch is at 6:30pm, but the fun starts the minute you walk through the gates.

Wednesday, May 14 brings the culinary chaos of “What’s on the Stick?” Wednesday, where brave fans can enjoy $2 mystery Country Pleasin’ sausage-on-a-stick or $3 you-pick flavors. Try all seven and you’ll earn the exclusive “Meat the Challenge” Mud Monsters T-shirt, awarded only to the most daring of sausage samplers.

On Thursday, May 15, it’s time for Thirsty Thursday—featuring $2 16oz draft beers all night long. There’s no better way to say goodbye to the Grizzlies than with a cold drink in hand and a swampy crowd at your back.

Then the Otters swim into town starting Friday, May 16 for a Fireworks Friday showdown. The game ends, the sky explodes, and everyone goes home happy.

Saturday, May 17 keeps the energy high with our Leather Patch Cap Giveaway, presented by the United States Coast Guard. The first 1,000 fans will walk away with a stylish new lid built for summer baseball in the deep South. After the final out, kids 12 and under are invited to hit the diamond for Kids Run the Bases presented by the Mississippi Children’s Museum.

The homestand wraps up on Sunday, May 18 with Family Feature Sunday, spotlighting the BadgePass Lil’ Creatures Kids Club Day. All young fans are invited to run the bases after the game, thanks to our friends at the Mississippi Children’s Museum, and create memories that go way beyond the bleachers.
