Justin Deutsch is the Group Sales Director for the Mississippi Mud Monsters, which basically means if you’re bringing a crowd to the ballpark, Justin’s the guy making sure it’s a night to remember. A new Mississippian, he’s ready to lead our group sales team to new heights and maybe a few home run celebrations along the way.
Before joining the swamp, Justin spent years skating through the world of professional hockey, literally. He worked in ticket sales with the Dallas Stars (NHL), Allen Americans (ECHL), and Tulsa Oilers (ECHL), and even played the game himself growing up and as an adult. So if you see someone gliding across the ice at The Southern Lights, it’s probably Justin. Move to the side, he’s fast.
His background runs deeper than the rink. Justin has experience in both TV sports production and radio broadcasting, but his greatest passion has always been sales and connection. He loves building relationships, crafting memorable experiences, and helping businesses and families see why a Mud Monsters outing at Trustmark Park is one of the best nights you can have in Central Mississippi.
This is the second Frontier League season for both the Mud Monsters and for Justin, though once upon a time he was behind the mic as the No. 2 broadcaster for the Richmond Roosters. Between us, we think the Monsters would have taken that matchup.
When he’s not at the ballpark, Justin enjoys spending time with his family, catching a good game on TV, or hitting the gym. Around here, he brings the energy, the focus, and the kind of team spirit that makes every night in the swamp feel like a win.
